It was great to attend the Kaseya and Datto local connect event in Manchester recently, the afternoon was spent with local partners discussing the current market and the future of the MSP world. It’s not often we get to connect with other service providers and it’s always useful to see what’s going on in the current market and to gain an insight into what everyone else is doing so that we can better improve our current offerings.
For this event there were multiple speakers taking on different aspect of the MSP world and the current offerings from Kaseya and their umbrella of partners. It’s obvious that Kaseya are busy in the market with multiple acquisitions and future developments for their current products. There is a certain buzz from them in with what’s to come in the future.
As our patching, security and continuity partner, keeping in touch with the offerings from them is essential as we can pass the benefits onto our customers. With enhanced features and improved products we can develop ourselves and continue to provide an improved service to all of our customers.
What did we take away?
Like mentioned above there is a certain buzz around Kaseya at the moment and its clear that the higher ups and account managers are thrilled about the upcoming offerings that Kaseya are bringing to the table. With the current big players in the market it’s clear that everyone is racing to be able to provide a suite of products to cover everything that an MSP could need and it’s clear Datto and Kaseya were interested in the requirements of each attending partner.
It was great to meet with the many partners that Kaseya work with and their related account managers, we work really closely with Kaseya and it’s nice to be able to put faces to names from email communications with them.
With their improvements in Office 365 management inbound and a focus on patching it means that we’re able to improve the security offerings for us and our customers, with a quickly developing threat landscape its something that is needed to keep on top of from all aspects.

Overall it’s clear that the offerings for MSPs are constantly on the move and the competitivity in the market is good for people like us as it means everyone is racing to improve their services that they can offer to us.
